What's New for the 2004 Acura MDX?
More power, revised styling and additional standard features update the Acura MDX for 2004. Power from the Acura MDX's 3.5-liter V6 is slightly bumped (now 265 horsepower), but not enough to make a significant difference. Styling is updated too, with freshened front and rear fascias, redesigned alloy wheels and two new colors. Inside, new side curtain airbags with rollover sensors protect occupants in all three rows and a tire pressure monitor has been added, while improved cabin lighting and new metallic dashboard trim brighten the Acura MDX's interior. Touring models now come equipped with driver's side power lumbar support and an improved Acura/Bose audio system. Advantages of the 2004 Acura MDX:

The Acura MDX is aging well. A subtle restyling for 2004 improves its outward appearance, the interior is luxuriously equipped and comfortable, and the powertrain is strong and reliable. As a crossover utility, the 2004 Acura MDX won't be a willing companion off-road, but it can thwart rain and snow storms with equal aplomb. Given increasing competition in the segment, the Acura MDX is holding its own.
