Editor's Advice: Without a doubt, the 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 is an impressive truck. Depending on your pocket book and the amount of fuel you're willing to consume, the Ram 1500 can be a miser as a two-wheel-drive ST regular cab or a hearty spender if built as a loaded four-wheel-drive Laramie with the 5.7-liter Hemi V8 and all the bells and whistles. In nearly every configuration, the Ram is a great buy and a solid performer.
