The 2008 IS 250 is a 4-door, 5-passenger luxury sports sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the 6-Speed Manual to the 6-Speed Sequential with All Wheel Drive. Upon introduction, the 6-Speed Manual is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, V6, 204-horsepower engine that achieves 18-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway. A 6-speed manual transmission with overdrive is standard. The 6-Speed Sequential with All Wheel Drive is equipped with a standard 2.5-liter, V6, 204-horsepower engine that achieves 20-mpg in the city and 26-mpg on the highway.
