BMW 3 Series Convertible Preview - 2007 Detroit Auto Show: Due to go on sale within the next few months, the 2007 BMW 3 Series Convertible comes equipped with a three-piece power retractable hardtop and will bear 328i and 335i designations. Models with the 328i badge feature a 230-horsepower inline six-cylinder engine, while the 335i gets a twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline six pushing 300 horses. The new roof design has reportedly improved rear and side visibility versus previous softtop versions.
