Speaking of screaming...The case of Stefan Eriksson, aka Fat Steffy, aka Ferrari’s first ever LA based pilot, and the crash of the $1 million Enzo is getting weirder by the day. Now there are reports of two men at the scene, flashing Homeland Security badges, and that Stefan’s racing buddy, “Trevor,” owns a $14 million yacht – that quickly disappeared into the horizon after the crash. Police, who started this whole thing just wanting to know who drove the Enzo into a pole, are now trying to figure out just why there was a magazine clip from a gun discovered near the wreckage, why a Scottish Bank is claiming that they own the Enzo, and why Scotland Yard says another of Steffy’s collectables is listed as stolen.

Their frustration is understandable, as is their skepticism of Eriksson’s story about a mystery German named Dietrich, though some may think Dietrich is the engineer on the new VW GTI commercial. The happy ending to this surreal tale? Ferrari says the Enzo can be repaired for about $200,000 - $300,000. Something tells me that the famous car just may wind up in a collection somewhere, and Fat Steffy – after jail time – will be driving a 1974 Chevy Vega. Let’s see him try to get that thing to fly.
